What’s up homies? March of The Playwrite is now in post and looking awesome. I hope that this video will pleasantly surprise people; we tried to keep it fun whilst still maintaining a slightly darker and overall more cinematic look. Untouched grab below.

We’re now writing and pitching on other bits and bobs, and will have a very special freestyle up on YouTube shortly. In the mean time, I’m spending a lot of time at Flynn; check ‘em out at www.flynnproductions.com; their new website is p.i.m.p, & their latest work for ASOS and the BBC is superb.

Tomorrow the collective known as Anything Anywhere begin shooting the debut promo for the lovely March of The Playwrite. I’ve spent most of today making a suitably diy video rig, but it’s also suitably awesome.

I can’t wait for the finished product, or for the next few days. In the meantime, Playwrite have tracks up at myspace.com/marchoftheplaywrite, and they’ve also recently released an EP, which is totally banging.

New website is GO. I’ve had to cool it with my Lost viewing; I’m starting to behave like Daniel Faraday. Gunna be tweaking the site over the next few days, but otherwise I think it’s looking pretty pimp, if I do say so myself, which I do.

Serious lack of updates. Been working on the new site, which is an extremely slow process when you don’t have the internet outside of the office. However, this has been remedied by my finally getting around to setting up tethering on my phone, so I’m slightly more connected.

Also, I’ve been working quite solidly on this: Dr. Noki for 123.

Unfortunately, I think I got unlucky with the Provia 100f I took to Barcelona, and whilst a good workman should never blame his tools, I shot thirty-six perfectly exposed frames on Neopan 400, which is obviously faster, but didn’t blow out at all. Bit of a bummer, but I’m delighted with the outcome of the Neopan (which I hadn’t used before). It’s already one of my favourite films; beautifully grainy and lovely greys. My possible favourite shot from Barcelona is below: it was dusk, and the street was partially bathed in golden light, making it hazy and tired. I love it more in black and white.

I have a summery feeling.
