Serious lack of updates. Been working on the new site, which is an extremely slow process when you don’t have the internet outside of the office. However, this has been remedied by my finally getting around to setting up tethering on my phone, so I’m slightly more connected.

Also, I’ve been working quite solidly on this: Dr. Noki for 123.

The website is in the process on being overhauled, so if it goes funny then that is why. I’m excited to announce a few things over the coming weeks & months, starting with the inception of Anything Anywhere Co. Even if it never leaves the bedrooms of whoever’s involved, it’s still electric.

Unfortunately, I think I got unlucky with the Provia 100f I took to Barcelona, and whilst a good workman should never blame his tools, I shot thirty-six perfectly exposed frames on Neopan 400, which is obviously faster, but didn’t blow out at all. Bit of a bummer, but I’m delighted with the outcome of the Neopan (which I hadn’t used before). It’s already one of my favourite films; beautifully grainy and lovely greys. My possible favourite shot from Barcelona is below: it was dusk, and the street was partially bathed in golden light, making it hazy and tired. I love it more in black and white.

I have a summery feeling.

I recently visited the Holocaust Exhibition at the Imperial War Museum. It, of course, is incredibly moving and very tangible. So much so that I left at about the halfway mark, but will eventually go back to finish it off. Certainly worth seeing (& it’s free).

I have been seriously lacking in posts and updates over here. There are about a million pictures I want to upload but just haven’t got around to it. Got back from Barcelona yesterday, had an incredible time that was slightly marred by the worst cold of all time.

Well, hello. It seems that the turn of the month marks my foreseeable future into a chaotic whirlwind maelstrom of rushing around. But that’s fun and encourages healthy sleeping patterns.

My favourite film at the moment is Fuji Astia, which I will most definitely be using for several weddings I have lined up. Slide film at a wedding could be a little risky, but with a dedicated camera and used carefully, it’ll be worth it.

My other favourite film is 500 Days Of Summer, which I seem to be able to watch on repeat and never tire of. Which leads us neatly on to She & Him, a band I love at the moment, and their video for In The Sun is so feel-good. I’ve watched it about ten times in the past few days.
