A friend of mine, Adrian, puts on killer club nights most months. His regulars are What Ever Happened To P-Rock? and Eclectic Like Whoopi. They’re always a hoot, and I ended up photographing the bands at last weekend’s P-Rock. A couple of them are below; one I quite like and the other, well, you can make up your own mind about that.

In other news, I got very excited about the Oscars on Sunday, but found them to be fairly predictable.

Had a little bit of downtime here at TRAG.com, something to do with renewing hosts and then hosts and servers not getting along, but everyone’s OK now.

A friend of mine gave me some Ilford B&W film that had been kicking about his parents house for I do not know how long, so I stuck it in the FG-20 and hoped for the best. I really like the result, but I prefer HP to FP (not talking about HP sauce there, haw haw!). Anyway, couple of shots below.

I’m reading On The Road at the moment, it would probably be my book recommendation of the week. I’m also listening to Bright Eyes’ “Digital Ash In A Digital Urn”. Really my favourite Bright Eyes record.

I’m not doing these two things simultaneously, in fact I am loathe to read with any sort of disturbance; is that a pact of pretension? Probably.

The first update of 2010, slightly belated but better late than never. There are a few exciting things coming up in the TRAG camp this year, all of which I’m itching to get underway. First though (and maybe most importantly), I have to keep my balance on all this ice and snow; I’m prone to toppling like a dog standing in a moving car.

Well, I hope you all had a lovely Christmas, and have an extremely prosperous New Year. I’ll leave you with a couple of shots, taken out of my window at two AM.

I can’t post what I’ve been up to recently, because my mum might see it and that’d ruin her Christmas surprise.

I do hope that everyone is enjoying the snow though. I’d like to say that I am, but my main snow friend has dislocated his knee, so it’s not THAT great. C’est la vie. Nearly Christmas, I’m going to eat so much.
